Yalda Khwaja advises insurers on complex coverage matters and litigation across a wide variety of policy types. She is knowledgeable about the London market, having worked for London insurers for nearly her whole career. Yalda was previously with a well-known New York law firm specializing in Insurance law, and she focuses her practice on managing claims under primary and excess policies from initial assessment through resolution. Yalda has significant experience with professional liability errors and omissions (E&O) policies, including coverage for architects, engineers, directors and officers, insurance agents, real estate professionals, brokers, and other industry specialists.

During law school, Yalda was a pioneer in supporting the success of first-generation professionals. She co-founded the First Generation Law Student’s Association and served on the Dean’s Advisory Council for Diversity and Inclusion. She was also president of the International Law Students Association.
