Tyson A. Burns is part of the TittmannWeix insurance monitoring practice with a focus on third party cyber and regulatory claims. She advises on coverage issues and manages litigation against her clients’ insureds including retaining and overseeing counsel, attending mediations, and assisting in settlements. Her insurance coverage expertise was built on a strong business foundation covering multiple facets of issues presenting companies.

Tyson began her career at Bryan Cave LLP in Washington D.C. where she served as part of the trial team defending a leading telecommunications company against aftermarket monopolization claims in a jury trial lasting six months and resulting in a successful verdict on the majority of claims. She also assisted in the planning and execution of internal investigations for companies seeking to analyze potential in-house violations of SEC regulations and/or the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and advised companies on steps to minimize liability with respect to such violations.

Tyson’s experience with corporate investigations, administrative proceedings, and litigation including jury trial experience gives her the perspective and understanding necessary to effectively monitor a broad variety of claims.
